Investors in People
The school was the first overseas school to achieve the UK Investors in People accreditation in 2004. The award recognises organisations that are particularly successful at valuing, supporting and developing their staff. Tanglin gained re-accreditation in 2006 and in 2009 against a more stringent set of criteria. In 2012 Tanglin was awarded Investors in People – Silver and in 2013 and 2015, the highest recognition - Gold.
The three principles of IIP are :
- Plan – Developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation
- Do – Taking action to improve the performance of the organisation
- Review – Evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation
