Athletics

We run an all-year-round programme of athletics for students in the Junior and Senior Schools. Students have several options for participation and training. They can attend various general sessions during which they will practise core skills and develop their athletic fitness. Although sessions are held at the same time, Junior and Senior students are separated and training is held in parallel. Senior students have the option of a number of practices each week. These sessions include core skills of sprinting, long-distance running, throwing skills and jumping skills. Students can attend as many sessions as they wish each week.

Each year, we enter a number of competitive events including ACSIS (U18) athletics and we are extending our commitment to include several cross country options which also extends the reach of our programme accordingly.

Y3-6 - 2.50pm – 4.50pm (Anglo Chinese Junior College)

Senior:

Tues, Wed, Thurs
Y7-13 - 2.50pm – 4.50pm (Anglo Chinese Junior College)
Y7-13 - 3.50pm - 4.50pm (Athletics Jump Session at Smithson Hall)

*Students can select only one session a week or more.
*Students attending Athletics will get priority for athletics events we enter.
