Tanglin Higher Education and Careers

Student Services (based in the Sixth Form Centre) provides lots of information and prospectuses on higher education both in the UK and internationally. There are also books, online resources and DVDs to help you find out more about student finance, career choices, gap years, self awareness, decision making, writing CVs and interview skills.

The Careers Education Programme is delivered primarily through the senior school PSHCE curriculum. In addition, both university representatives and industry/business specialists regularly visit the school to speak to students.

An important part of careers education and planning is helping students to understand themselves and what influences them. The Careers Education Programme provides opportunities to take psychometric and aptitude tests including KUDOS, "Caps, Capes and Copes" and Centigrade to help students recognise their skills and potential.

To find out more, please contact Student Services on 6770 3533 or visit them at Level 2 of the Sixth Form Building.
