Term 3 Week 1

Year 2 Tech Leaders visited the innovation lab at the Science Centre where they worked with a Lego Robotics expert to develop their skills in engineering and coding. 18 April 2017.

Reception classes had a wonderful trip to the Singapore Zoo this week. A highlight of the trip was the 'Zoorassic Park' exhibition where the children  learnt about critically endangered animals. 18 April 2017.

Year 2 have started off the term with some explosive learning linked to our new ‘Islands of Fire!’ topic. Children enjoyed making their own volcanoes by investigating chemical reactions, choreographing their own creative volcano dance, painting erupting volcanoes and writing descriptive poems using dramatic, evocative language. 20 April 2017, Year 2 Launch Day.

The planet needs more superheroes like the Year 4 Global Guardians! The students participated in various activities linked to sustainability including making their own smoothies powered by bicycles and doing creative projects using only recycled items. 21 April, Year 4 Global Guardian Day

Year 13 had their Leavers Assembly as a bittersweet farewell to the rest of the Senior School before they focus on their exams during the coming weeks. It was a wonderful celebration with musical performances, dances and curated videos where they get to look back at their life at Tanglin. 21 April, The Moot.
