CCAs – Wet Weather

Please note that if the weather is wet / stormy we will find an indoor venue for outside CCAs to continue, with theory sessions and appropriate activities organised by the teachers and coaches. The CCA will then finish at the usual time.

CCAs – Week 10

Please note that in week 10 the following CCAs are cancelled, due to venues being used for other events:

Tues 11th          Y5/6 House Night and Swim Training (Swim Development will run as normal from 2.50-3.50pm)
Weds 12th        Y6/U12 Netball and Y5/6 Hip Hop Dance

Leader needed for Beaver Scouts

There is a thriving Beavers Scout movement at Tanglin Trust School for boys aged 6-8 years, but unfortunately we are losing our Beaver leaders in July this year:

Mrs Molloy, is relocating to UK after 3 years service, Mrs Morgan has decided to retire from scouting after 6 years service to the school’s Beaver Colony.

We are, therefore, looking for 2 people to take this on and continue with this successful SRC. The groups meet on Monday and Wednesday from 1.50 – 2.50 and follow the UK Beaver Scout programme which is already prepared and resourced. The Leaders run these groups on a voluntary basis, using parental helpers, and there is some training involved. If we cannot find anyone to take over, it will mean that the Beaver Scouts will have to fold.
