A MESSAGE FROM CRAIG CONSIDINE, CEO

At Tanglin, school life is not simply preparation for something in the future. Every day of a child’s school life is important and should be looked forward to with excitement and anticipation.  

Each child is unique and their needs change as they grow. Knowing them, inspiring them, caring for them, challenging them and collaborating with them is our work. This responsibility requires a purposeful and creative approach that respects everyone's needs. Individuals matter as do communal experiences that create camaraderie and connectedness ...

Infant School

Ages 3 - 7

We are the first school in Asia to be awarded a Curiosity Approach® accredited status.

Junior School

Ages 7 - 11

We develop our children's potential so they can achieve their own 'personal best', regardless of their starting point.

Middle School

(Start of Senior School)
Ages 11 - 14

We nurture  students to develop a deeper understanding of Tanglin’s core values of Respect, Responsibility and Purpose whilst learning how to learn.

Upper School

(Continuation of Senior School)
Ages 14 -16

With a wide array of (I) GCSE subjects from multiple exam boards, our Upper School curriculum ensures a rigorous and broad academic experience. 

Sixth Form

(Culmination of Senior School)
Ages 16 - 18

We are the only school in Singapore who offer a dual pathway of either A-level or the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Tanglin Crowned International School of the Year 2023 by ISC Research

Tanglin is pleased to announce that it has won the much-coveted International School of the Year 2023 by ISC Research. The school also won the Ethical Values Education Award, for embedding the rights of children into the school’s ethos and culture as part of UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools accreditation (RRSA). In addition, Tanglin was also the finalist in the Strategic Leadership Category.

Tanglin Achieves Another Year of Outstanding A-Level Results

Congratulations to our students for achieving another year of outstanding A-Level results. The school is very proud of this year's cohort for achieving 100% pass rate. In addition, an exceptional 40% of all grades were an A*, compared to 14.6% in England. At Tanglin, 69% of all grades were an A* or A, compared to 36.4% in England and 58% in independent schools in England.

Tanglin Centenary Building

NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART BUILDING

Tanglin officially unveiled the Tanglin Centenary Building, an 11-storey building with state-of-the-art facilities in January 2023. The opening ceremony was attended by Guests of Honour; Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Transport and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, as well as Her Excellency, Kara Owen CMG CVO, British High Commissioner to Singapore.

Key faculty were involved in the design of each facility. Hear their stories and discover how the new facilities will benefit the Tanglin community.

Tanglin Alumni is made up of past students, staff and parents, who have all been part of the rich heritage of Tanglin Trust School - the oldest British International School in South East Asia. A not-for-profit School, we look forward to celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2025.
