At Tanglin, school life is not simply preparation for something in the future. Every day of a child’s school life is important and should be looked forward to with excitement and anticipation.  

Each child is unique and their needs change as they grow. Knowing them, inspiring them, caring for them, challenging them and collaborating with them is our work. This responsibility requires a purposeful and creative approach that respects everyone's needs. Individuals matter as do communal experiences that create camaraderie and connectedness.  

As a British international school approaching its centenary, we recognise our rich heritage and embrace the diversity that Singapore brings. We aspire to be the best school in the world with a dynamic learning community which nurtures and inspires every individual to be the best they can be. To that end, we were delighted to have been named 'International School of the Year 2023' at the global International School Awards. Accolades aside, we are most proud that our graduates are simply ‘good people’, who can flourish and make a positive contribution to the world.
