Progress & Reporting

Throughout the year we have a series of open sessions, half termly for the Early Years (Nursery & Reception) and at the end of each term for Years 1 & 2, where children are encouraged to share their learning informally with their parents.

Children’s learning is also shared on Seesaw throughout the year. This further strengthens the home/school link. 

We also have more formal Parent Teacher Conferences in all three terms. This is an opportunity for parents to meet with their child’s class teacher on an individual basis and review their child’s learning and next steps.

Mid-Year Reports are written for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children at the start of Term 2 and all children in the Infant School receive a summative report in Term 3. The Term 2 and Term 3 Parent Teacher Conferences are timed to coincide with the reports going out so that these documents can be discussed in more detail.
