Tanglin Trust School Wins "Thinking Beyond the Curriculum" - 2024 Talk Education Awards 

We are delighted to announce that Tanglin has been given the prestigious "Thinking Beyond the Curriculum" award by Talk Education, a UK-based platform dedicated to celebrating excellence and innovation in education in the independent schools sector. 

The award particularly acknowledges the impact of The Institute at Tanglin, which has been instrumental in supporting student scholarship and learning since its inception three years ago. During this time it has  introduced a range of initiatives to promote academic excellence, and provide thought leadership amongst students and the wider Tanglin community. 

The award also takes into account new beyond-the-curriculum initiatives such as the Year 9 Highlands Programme at Tanglin Gippsland, which promotes experiential learning and personal growth in an immersive learning environment. 

This achievement is especially meaningful as it is the first time Tanglin has participated in the Talk Education Awards, and it is the only school outside of the UK to win an award. Among 61 schools shortlisted across 12 categories, Tanglin stood out for its efforts to inspire students to think beyond the core curriculum and challenge themselves to explore new areas of interest.
