Four Year 12 students attended the 2026 Singapore Airshow and took part in the British High Commission Student Pitching Competition as part of the annual Aero Campus initiative.
Sahil S, Charles C, Caidan H. and Daniel S. competed against other international schools and The Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education, winning three out of the four prizes, including Most Innovative Idea, Best Presentation and Joint Winner for Best Presenter. Their solution was to update the current black box system to update via the already existing WiFi connection on planes so that if a plane went down the data was immediately accessible.
It was a fantastic ‘future-ready’ learning experience and a unique opportunity for our students to be part of a major international event encompassing technology, sustainability, business and engineering.
