The Class of 2025 has worked hard at getting into the university of their choice. Here's Katy's story.

What is your Tanglin story?
I started at Tanglin in Nursery and have been lucky enough to make a lot of great memories both within and outside the classroom; I’ve always had something to look forward to during my time here, whether it was really cool extracurricular opportunities or school trips. I am so grateful to all the friends and teachers who have supported me and made my time at Tanglin so enjoyable.

What led you to choose Imperial College London to study Chemical Engineering, and what are you most looking forward to?
I was really excited by Imperial’s state-of-the-art facilities - particularly the in-house carbon capture pilot plant due to my interest in amine scrubbing and gas treatment in chemical plants. Beyond the academics, I look forward to visiting all the nice shopping malls around South Kensington and exploring some new extracurriculars, especially the mahjong club!
