The World Scholar's Cup (WSC) enables students to work on their debate, research and writing skills, and to prepare for and take part in various competitions globally and nationally.
The WSC competition has almost doubled in size this year with over 50,000 students participating globally. With this in mind, it is an amazing achievement that all Tanglin teams recently qualified for the final Tournament of Champions at Yale. Although everyone did brilliantly at this year's biggest Global Round in Beijing, special mentions must go to the following:
- One team placed 2nd overall in Juniors (Sophia, Youran, Elaine)
- One team placed 2nd in Debate (Aarav, Tarini, Aanika)
- One team placed 4th in Writing (Hannah, Hannah, Suzanne)
Congratulations to all who took part and demonstrated their fantastic public speaking and leadership skills, and shared their love of learning beyond the classroom.
