Congratulations to our students for an outstanding set of (I)GCSE results!
In an extraordinary year, we are incredibly proud of our students' performance. Of all grades achieved, 78% were A, A* or equivalent (compared to 27.5% in England) and 99% were A* to C or equivalent (78.8% in England).
Other notable achievements include:
- 79 students (49%) achieved A*, A or equivalent grades in all their GCSE subjects
- 23 students achieved A* or equivalent in all their GCSEs
- 11 students achieved a set of Grade A*s and Grade 9s – the highest grades possible.
These results are a huge credit to our students and complete a trio of outstanding results for Tanglin this summer.
Allan Forbes, Head of Senior School said: "After a turbulent build up to the release of (I)GCSE results, I am absolutely delighted with the outcomes for our Year 11 cohort. Centre Assessed Grades were upheld and, in a number of Pearson subjects, even surpassed for some individuals. I would like to congratulate all our students on their sheer hard work and resilience during this trying time, and thank our teaching and support staff for their exceptional support and diligence. The students can now focus on the next stage of their education, whether that be IB or A Level."
We wish all our new Year 12 students the best as they embark on their Sixth Form journeys.
