We are delighted to announce the launch of Interpretations, the first digital showcase of the collaboration between the National Gallery Singapore and Tanglin Trust School.
Although we have not been able to take a trip to the gallery this year, this has not stopped Tanglin's Senior students from being immersed in the works exhibited there.
The Interpretations digital showcase allows you to explore the diverse ways that our students have responded to these works. In Year 8 English, students have narrated their experiences of the paintings through poems and recitals, while in Art and Design they have reinterpreted the paintings visually in connection to their own identity.
GCSE and IB Music students have selected songs that they feel encapsulate the feeling and mood of selected works, and our IB Film Studies students have produced a mesmerising showcase of the gallery's classical and postmodern architecture.
We hope you enjoy these wonderful interpretations by our students.
