There has been a real buzz in The Moot this morning as over 65 University and College institutions from around the world came to Tanglin for the first Singapore Lion City High School Fair. The Fair has been organised in conjunction with other international schools in Singapore and we were the first school to welcome the group on the tour.
Students and parents came prepared with questions and enjoyed the opportunity to talk with all the university representatives.
One Year 13 student said: "It's a good opportunity to explore different universities you may not have already considered, and to also speak to those that you're interested in. You can ask questions and get responses straight away. I've been keen to know what's special about certain courses and the types of facilities the university has."
A representative from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, UK commented: "We're thrilled to have been able to attend. The quality and maturity of the students' questions has been great, and many have done their research. I've been impressed by the vast range of extra-curricular activities students take part in - this will help them adapt well to university life."
