Tanglin was proud to host the 2026 SEASAC Gymnastics Championships, welcoming 189 athletes from 10 schools across four countries for three days of outstanding competition. Our Junior and Senior Tanglin Lions impressed with podium finishes, personal bests, and tremendous team spirit throughout the weekend.
Tanglin Philharmonia delivered a dazzling evening of music and theatre at the SOTA Concert Hall with A Night at the Musicals, featuring standout performances from some of the school’s most accomplished orchestral musicians and singers. Audiences were treated to a memorable celebration of classic Broadway and West End favourites, brought to life with flair by the Tanglin community.
On Monday, we had a group of Year 12 students visit the Science Centre as part of the NXplorer's Journey Programme. Students took part in workshops on electrical circuits and organic solar cells, while exploring the Science Centre and conducting research on their projects.
Fourteen Junior School musicians represented Tanglin at last week’s FOBISIA Primary Music Festival in Bangkok, taking part in choirs, orchestra rehearsals and creative workshops. The festival ended with two outstanding concerts, celebrating the students’ enthusiasm, teamwork and joy in music.
Reception children delighted audiences with their charming concert Cock-a-Moo-Moo, a joyful celebration of farm animals, music and singing. Full of enthusiasm and confidence, the young performers brought the farmyard to life in a heartwarming showcase of their growing performance skills.
On Thursday, Senior School marked International Day with a vibrant celebration of the many nationalities in our community, featuring cultural booths and activities throughout the day. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to share traditions, learn from one another and celebrate Tanglin’s international spirit.
We were delighted to host the IB Visual Arts Exhibition, showcasing a diverse body of work by our Class of 2026 IB Diploma students. Through deeply personal investigations and refined artistic practice, each student explored ideas of memory, identity, change and continuity through their own interpretation of Threads of Time.
This week’s Tanglin Tingle focused on Senior sporting success, with Dr Malpass recognising the achievements of students who had recently competed in FOBISIA Climbing, SEASAC Touch Rugby and SEASAC Girls’ Basketball.
Members of the Tanglin community came together for Tanglin Golf Day, enjoying a fun and friendly day of competition at the stunning Laguna Golf Course.
