Our Year 6 performers have taken audiences to A Whole New World with their vibrant production of Aladdin Kids. With around 200 students across four casts, the show has been a joyful celebration of talent, teamwork and imagination.
Infant School embraced STEAM Week with curiosity, creativity and hands-on discovery as children explored big questions through science, sustainability and design. From water filtration and gravity experiments to learning with Dr Joanna Henley, our resident Marine Scientist, the week showed how curiosity can inspire real-world thinking and care for our planet.
The Tanglin community marked International Women’s Day with inspiring events across the Senior School, including our second annual Student Leadership Conference. Through guest speakers and workshops, students explored voice, leadership, equality and the future with confidence and purpose.
Year 4 showed great generosity through their Food from the Heart donation drive, supporting families across Singapore with donated food items. We were especially proud of our Legacy Leaders, who delivered the boxes and saw first-hand how kindness, service and leadership can make a real difference.
Our recent Orchestral and Strings Concert was a joyful celebration of music-making across the school, from our youngest learners to accomplished Senior performers. Featuring ensembles from Infants to Year 13, the evening showcased both the breadth of talent at Tanglin and the musical journey open to every student.
We are delighted to welcome Dr Richard Malpass, Head of Senior School, to Gippsland this week. His visit is a valuable opportunity for students to connect with a familiar leader from Singapore while sharing in the unique rhythm of Highlands life. Time spent in Gippsland offers visiting staff the chance to see first-hand the independence, resilience and sense of community that students develop through everyday routines, outdoor learning and life on campus.
