Term 3, Week 5

This week the Infants and Juniors enjoyed a visit from Marcel Pusey, British composer and talented musician, who led rhythm-filled workshops with our Infant and Junior students, bringing energy, creativity and musical joy to the sessions.

We marked Mental Health Awareness Week across the whole school with a fun photo booth, complete with colourful props and plenty of smiles.

Our Year 1 and 2 children showed such fantastic spirit at Sports Day, with plenty of energy, teamwork and determination - even the rain couldn’t stop them!

Mr Hylands, Assistant Director of Music leading a music lesson with some of our Nursery children this week - many of whom had never seen a Double bass before!

Year 6 celebrated the first Tanglin Film Festival in the Junior School, showcasing original short films created in their Tech lessons. From planning and filming to editing, sound and titles, pupils demonstrated creativity, teamwork and impressive technical skill. Congratulations to all finalists, winners and Rising Stars!

Our Infant Wellbeing Warriors helped with the community groceries packing and deliveries this week, showing kindness, teamwork and community spirit in action.

During Year 10 WEX Week, students experienced a range of workplace environments, gaining valuable skills and insights into careers they may wish to pursue.

Our Reception children went on an inspiring trip to the National Gallery where they explored the Keppel Centre for Art Education and enjoyed the creative play activities on offer.

Year 6 were inspired by Paralympian Nur Syahidah Alim, the first female archer to represent Singapore at the Paralympic Games, who spoke at a special assembly in support of their year group charity, the Singapore Disability Sports Council.
