Week in Photos

Term 1, Week 2

This week, Sir Ernest Shackleton, the famed Antarctic explorer, made a guest appearance in the Junior School. Despite being born in 1874, he did a fantastic job recruiting some keen hopefuls for his upcoming expedition. During Year 5's fun-packed assembly, the children sang sea shanties and participated in a cooking competition as part of Shakleton's interview process. For the final part of the application process, the children will be writing formal persuasive letters in our English lessons over the coming weeks.

Junior children also enjoyed various activities during Lifeskills Day this week.

Infant children started their Forest Learning sessions this week where they get to connect with nature whilst experiencing sensory experiences that help bring learning to life!

A special music workshop was organised by the Infant School on Thursday in an effort to encourage parental engagement as well as to provide them with an insight to their child's learning.

Parents were also invited to a welcome drinks organised by Friends of Tanglin this week. It was a wonderful opportunity for new parents to meet our CEO, Craig Considine, the Heads and Deputy Heads of School, and to socialise with other new parents.
