Term 2, Week 10
This week is Charity week for the Year 7s in support of Food from the Heart - a IPC-status food charity that feeds the needy in Singapore. During the week, they organised fun activities such as a lunchtime bake sale and 'Sponge the Teacher'.
Year 6 invited the audience to step into the Big Top this week for their production of 'Spectacular'. Featuring gymnasts, clowns, dancers and drummers, the children brought the magic of the circus alive with their performance, set to some of the greatest hits from the world of showbusiness.
The IB Visual Arts Exhibition took place on Thursday evening, where the graduating class proudly showed off their finished projects to their family, peers and the community.
We also celebrated student research projects from Senior School on a variety of topics and projects with an exhibition of their work at the Institute. Our senior students were definitely in their element as they presented on projects that ranged from research on hydrogen fuel cell technology to the first cross-school collaborative projects for IB music to the Year 9 Foundation Project and speaking competitions. Great job, everyone!
Last but not least, our community was "served" with a fantastic time at the beautiful Hollandse Club for Tennis Day.
