Term 2, Week 12
After a hiatus of 5 years, Botanic Beats is back with a resounding success! Despite the rain, there was a wonderful turn out from members of the public as well as the school community.
An abridged performance of William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' took place this week, with Rohan, Year 11 taking on the titular role and 10 other actors from Years 8 to 13.
Leavers Week for our Year 13 students started out with a bang on Monday evening with games of touch rugby and football against their teachers!
Our Reception children put up wonderful performances last week! Smiles can be seen all around on proud parents who attended the event.
Before the school break for the end of Term 2; assemblies were held to bid farewell as well as to celebrate all that was learnt and experienced this term. Years 13 said their thanks to their teachers and friends at the Leavers Assembly while the Infant children gave special performances to showcase what they learnt in school.
On the last day of term, U16 and U18 Rugby boys who participated in the recent FOBISIA and SEASAC games were invited to the Head of Senior School, Chris Seal's office for a chat over donuts and coffee. They were also given a token of appreciation for their performances and participations in the games.
