Tuesday was an exciting day for both students and staff at Tanglin as we hosted famous British fitness coach Joe Wicks!
It was Safer Internet Week at the Infant and Junior Schools this week. Within the Infant School, children completed Seesaw challenges, took part in colouring competitions, played board games and went on a Digital Citizenship hunt. For the Juniors, the students worked through this year’s Safer Internet Day activities during Lifeskills lessons by researching cyber safety using the safer internet research guide on the Junior Library website. In technology lessons, the children continued to reflect on their online identity and the responsibilities they have for their digital footprint.
We had the first Open Mic session at the Junior break time and it was a joy to see so many confident musicians who performed for their peers.
Year 8 students have been organising pop-up tables for bake sales, games and other activities to raise funds for Love, Nils. Thank you to everyone who came to support this cause.
On Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the ‘HandleBards’ theatre company back to Tanglin to give a performance of Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’ to all of Year 8.
