Our Year 4 students put up fabulous performances this week in the Berrick Performance Hall!
Dyson engineers representing the James Dyson Foundation spent some time this week with our Senior School Design & Technology team to hold a rapid prototyping workshop for our students. This workshop challenged our students to think like engineers, and to turn their ideas into working prototypes. The students were very excited to discover the industrial design process - creating solutions to everyday problems.
This week during JASS Cooking CCA class, our Junior students baked chocolate rice crispy treats and then gave them out to show their appreciation to the workers around Tanglin - our security guards, construction workers, housekeeping assistants, canteen staff, etc. It was a good mindfulness exercise to give thanks to those who are easily forgotten in the community. Well done students!
Our Year 8 students were out all week on their trips to Batu Maloi. It was an action-packed trip - students did mountain biking on the jungle trails, conquered team challenges, did stand-up paddling, and even explored the Gua Batu Maloi caves!
Thank you, parents and children, for your incredible efforts in making our 'Fit'a'thon' event a success! We are proud to announce Year 5 raised $8132.75 on Wednesday!
Our students enthusiastically took part in various activities throughout the day, promoting physical activity and year group team spirit! The funds raised will benefit five charities: Rainbow Centre, St Johns Home for Elderly Persons, Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, The Red Pencil, and Children's Aid Society.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this event, showcasing our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
