Week in Photos

Term 3, Week 7 & 8

As we are coming to the end of the school year, it's time to honour our senior students and top-performing athletes with a sports celebration ceremony! Well done, everyone!

What is it like to be a Year 3 student? The Year 2 children visited the Year 3s for a transition activity - they did a photo hunt around the school, had the opportunity to ask their buddy questions, and had a fun lunch in the canteen.

Year 8s also had a blast at Batu Maloi during their long-awaited adventure trip.

This week saw the culmination of Year 9 students' Service Learning projects, in which groups were tasked with choosing a worthy cause to research and advocate for. Their Year 8 audience visited exhibits about a range of social, environmental, ethical and political issues related to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Year 3 have ‘wowed’ their audiences this week with their production of ‘The Big Red Bus’.

This energetic play showcased the talented year group, as they took us all on an exciting adventure to collect interesting information about London and Singapore.

Our Nusery children and parents had a fantastic time soaking up the sun at the Teddy Bear outdoor picnic this week.

Last not least, a number of senior students were acknowledged for their achievements and contributions during the weekly Tanglin Tingle with their respective teachers:

  • Chloe and Aaditri were acknowledged for the fantastic support they provided a friend in need and the senior nursing team.
  • Year 12’s Aimee, Gracie, Joanna, Laura, Beatrice, Sakura, Olivia, Fearne, Ethan, Mehr, and Keya were involved in the creating and presenting of STEAM and Sustainability Week assemblies for Junior school. They each gave an assembly to a Junior school year group, and went above and beyond to try and inspire the younger students.
  • Year 12’s Emily and Joanna recently volunteered to assist a parent at a Venture Capital Pitching Event in Singapore. Thanks to their great work, they received numerous positive feedback from the event organiser.
