Term 2, Week 11

Congratulations to all the runners who took part in this year's House Fun Run and raised $10,000 for Arc Children's Centre. The weather held off and everyone enjoyed a carnival atmosphere, along with food and music.

As part of Leavers Week this week, we celebrated our outstanding Year 13 leavers at the inaugural Sixth Form Awards Evening, where over 80 awards were bestowed, recognising their dedication in academics, sports, arts, and beyond.

This week, parents joined us in celebrating the Junior children's journey at our year group Learning Showcase. From engaging presentations on residential trip experiences to sharing the term's achievements, it was a day filled with pride and joy.

Our talented musicians from the Junior Ukulele and Recorder groups came to perform for Year 1 and  2 children as part of their end of term celebration.

This week, we also celebrated student research projects from Senior School with an exhibition of their work at the Institute. This year, we have seen a range of outstanding projects from a Finance Conference to providing Basic Cardiac Life Support training to underprivileged communities in India.

On Wednesday, our outstanding Strings and Orchestral student and staff musicians dazzled on the Berrick Hall stage with a Stage & Screen-themed concert, featuring iconic pieces from Bach to James Bond and culminating in an uplifting finale with pieces like Thunderbirds theme.

And finally - excitement filled our Year 2 classroom as we welcomed a special guest – the Easter Bunny!  Joining us for an enchanting storytelling session and fun-filled activities, the Easter Bunny added extra joy to our pre-Easter celebrations. What a delightful way to end the school term and kick off the upcoming Easter weekend!
