It's the first week of Term 3! It's fantastic to welcome back our students and staff who were all fully recharged and excited to start the new term.
Our Tanglin climbing team took part in the Spark 2.0 bouldering competition at Lighthouse Gym and three of our climbers came in top against students from other schools. Congratulations to Aston for coming in 1st place in the U14 Boys, Juliet for coming in 1st place in the U14 Girls, and Oscar for coming in 2nd place in the U16 Boys.
Congratulations to our talented musicians for their fantastic solo performances at the Senior Young Musicians concert this week.
It's been wonderful welcoming back parents on campus. At the CEO Breakfast Talk which kicked off this week, CEO Craig Considine had the chance to engage with parents and presented some key developments for the next school year and beyond.
Year 3 parents have also been invited back to school for a special tour around the classrooms and to learn more about what their children have been learning in school.
Transition assemblies have been taking place this week to give children a preview of what they can expect when they move up to the next year group. Student representatives from the older year groups have been such great role models in sharing their experiences and support for their younger peers.
The Common Area in the Sixth Form building has been refurbished to provide students with lots more comfortable seating spaces to study, eat and socialise during their free periods.
Students are also enjoying a new selection of food offerings as our new caterer commenced this term. The Shawarma station was extremely popular!
As per tradition, Year 13 students signed and wrote farewell messages on their peer's uniforms before leaving to prepare for their final exams. All the best to the Class of 2022 and we wish them all the success in their exams!
