Week in Photos

Term 2, Week 8

Year 1 put on 8 fantastic performances of the ‘Snail and the Whale’ with children performing in sign language, dancing, and playing instruments to a variety of music. There was fantastic speaking and acting from all and a truly magical collaboration from all the children and staff from Year 1 and the Infant Music, Arts and Theatre and Events teams.

This week Year 6 children visited the Kranji War Memorial. By visiting this very special place, their in-class study of World War II was brought into real and impactful
context and served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices previous generations made for our freedoms.

Well done to all the Year 10 students for organising such a fun charity week and raising a total amount of $1,246.85 for ACRES - a non-governmental organisation and a registered animal welfare charity with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth in Singapore.

Thank you to our Tanglin community who contributed to the Year 4 Food from the Heart charity drive.

Students across school came dressed in casual clothing on Friday to raise funds for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Funds raised will be given to the Singapore Red Cross.
