Term 3, Week 2

Music lovers were in for a treat as Tanglin’s music students across all year groups took to the stage last Saturday evening to perform to Vivaldi’s Concerto Grosso in G Minor, What a Wonderful World and other classics. For some students it was their first experience performing on stage and they did a wonderful job. View stunning photos from the event below.

The first House competition for Term 3 kicked off on Tuesday with the Capture the House Flag Competition. Students from Years 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 gathered for a friendly match at the Tanglin Playing Field. Team Alexandra took the crown whilst Teams Raeburn, Winchester and Cameron came in second, third and fourth respectively.

Well done to all students who participated and a BIG thank you to Mr James Russell and the Senior House Team for organising such a great event.

Year 5 children enjoyed a day out in the sun as part of their Outdoor Education programme. They had an entire day of fun-filled activities from rafting, outdoor cooking, archery, and many more. It was a fantastic opportunity to pick up new skills and build confidence, cooperation and teamwork while having fun with their friends.

We popped by the Outdoor Education team's office this week to meet their newest members - Donald and Daffy ! The two little ducklings will be making the Forest School Area their home soon and in the meantime are getting acclimatised to their new environment and making new friends.
