Getting involved

We look to identify opportunities at school to enhance students' learning by leveraging on the skills and experience in our Tanglin community. There are multiple ways that parents support the school and students' learning, including:

  • Work Experience Opportunities
  • Careers Fairs
  • Specialist Speakers
  • Volunteers
  • The Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
  • Governors
  • Sponsorship

If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, ways to advertise your business, or have time and experience to offer the school, please contact our Development Team.

Parent Teacher Association

Tanglin is fortunate to have the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), which is a wonderful group who volunteer their time to support the school and our community.

The main purpose of the PTA is to be a channel of open communication between parents and teachers on all matters affecting the wellbeing of the school and the welfare and development of our students. The PTA also arranges social events, which bring together parents, staff and students for a number of fun activities such as the Christmas Fair, Quiz Night and Summer Fete, to name a few. Thanks to the support of the Tanglin community, the PTA is able to raise funds for projects that significantly enhance the Tanglin experience, but which would otherwise have to wait until the necessary funds were available. Recent projects funded by the PTA include a fabulous music shed and mud kitchen within the Infant School Playground, a MasterChef Kitchen and Future Learning Classroom in the Junior School, and a Design & Technology Laboratory in the Senior School.

If you would like to know more about sponsorship opportunities or volunteer work in the PTA, please contact the PTA Office.
