Lions Win Sixth Consecutive Sithwalta SCC 7's Cup

The Tanglin Lions Under 18's won the Sithwalta SCC 7's Cup for a record sixth consecutive year, and ninth time in eleven years, defeating Dubai College in the final 24-12. Dylan (2), Fraiser and George scored the Tanglin tries in the final. It was the first time that Dubai College have entered the tournament and they certainly added quality to the event.

Quoted in The Straits Times, our Under 18 captain Kit said: "This year, we focused on bonding as a team and went back to the basics of going forward and attack with numbers so that there is always support. As such, our players have the same mindset and are on the same wavelength that we can read and anticipate what each other is going to do. We are happy our hard work paid off and we can continue Tanglin's proud tradition in this competition."

The Tanglin Lions Under 16's completed the double for Tanglin by defeating Lycee Francais De Singapour by 17-12 in a hard-fought final to regain the John Clark Trophy. Sean (2) and Zach scored the tries in the final in an impressive display of running rugby.
