Head of Upper School
WELCOME MESSAGE
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Upper School (the continuation of Senior School for Years 10 & 11, ages 14 to 16) at Tanglin. We provide an academic experience that encourages students to seek mastery of their subjects. By nurturing a culture of curiosity and personal responsibility, we prepare our students to be lifelong learners. Each individual is supported to achieve their personal best, which is reflected in our record of outstanding (I)GCSE results. Our broad curriculum ensures that students have a balanced learning experience and have the advantage of choice when they select their Sixth Form pathway.

STAY INFORMED
After a three-year hiatus, Tanglin returned to the big stage with Broadway classic, West Side Story. We sat down with student participants as well as Kathryn (Kate) Edwards, who led a team of 82 students; actors, designers, dance choreographers, musicians, back-stage crew, who put in hundreds of man hours for three nights of performances, to learn more about their sentiments behind the scenes.
Tanglin recently won the Outstanding Environmental Project Award at the School Green Awards 2022. We sat down with Year 13 student, Isabel D, who championed the most recent Eco Week, to find out more about what drives her and how we can be inspired to do our part to protect Mother Earth.
TMUN is in session! What was the theme this year and what did our students debate about? Adam Cotton, Academic Enrichment Coordinator, tells us more.
