University Destinations 2017

Both A Level and IB pathways allow students to make international applications and both are recognised and highly regarded by all universities across the globe.

Many of our students secure places, including scholarships, at top universities around the world. They have gone on to follow their passions, studying in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

The Careers and University Guidance Counsellors have built excellent relationships with many of the world’s best universities, so we are able to support students with applications for any university they wish to apply to. In addition, we support students with their personal statements, course choices and mock interview preparation, as well as inspire them with academic lectures and enrichment activities in their subject area.

In Year 11, our Post-16 Pathways guidance includes an information session on choosing subjects with a university in mind. Once in Sixth Form, our students are invited to university visits at Tanglin. In addition, we provide bespoke advice and resources, 1:1 time with a counsellor and information sessions for parents. We also hold a biannual careers fair and a UK universities trip.
